President Dick O’Donnell convened the meeting. Pete Beck led the prayer and pledge of allegiance to our flag. Dan Clemson joined us today as our guest. He works as an arborist for Bartlett Tree Experts in Chapel Hill. He is from Annapolis, MD and just moved to the Mebane area. His grandfather was a Rotarian, and he is interested in learning more about Rotary. He will giving a presentation at ACC on November 2 in his field. His company will offering a position to an ACC graduate. Dick did some jokes, one about a hungry termite, who asked, “Is the bar tender here?” The next two were worse.
